Neil has a doctorate from Oxford, using natural products for cancer and AIDS treatments. He joined ICI’s product development team and rose to become Global Head of Innovation at Uniqema, working with L'oreal, Beiersdorf etc. Neil left ICI to become Director at Avon Rubber Technical Division responsible for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN). Now runs consultancy, including delivering Cosmetic product development and Cosmetic Product Safety Reports.

Neil supported the Beauty Council and UK Spa Association with its response to COVID-19 providing guidance and risk assessments to aid industry in negotiations with BEIS. He has published several reports on Cancer Touch Therapy and The Effects of Touch Therapy on Mental Health and Well Being.
